Matthew began his career in financial services in 2004. Prior to joining Ironwood Investment Counsel, Matthew was a relationship manager for Wilmington Trust Company, where he was responsible for the performance reporting and relationship management for institutional clients.
Matthew holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science degree in Global Business with a major in Financial Management from Arizona State University. He was awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®certification in 2011 and is an active member of the Greater Phoenix chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Matthew also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, is a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the CFA Society Phoenix. In addition, he holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by Investment Management Consultants Association® and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
