Michael began his career in financial services in 1999. Prior to joining Ironwood Investment Counsel, Michael was a portfolio manager at Stoker Ostler Wealth Advisors where he was responsible for wealth planning and portfolio management for high net worth clients. Prior to that, Michael was an analyst at Arthur Andersen LLP and a senior analyst at Inlign Wealth Management.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Administration from Michigan State University. He was awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®certification in 2014.
